Colored Layered Paper Art
Paper is a paradox: strong yet fragile.
It is reflection of life and nature itself: durable, and able to carry deepest thoughts and ideas, yet so fragile that it can be teared apart by a single move, and burned away by a single spark of fire.
When layered, it mimics layers of existence, layers of experience, layers of consciousness.
Paper speaks to me not only as a medium, but as a symbol. Born from trees, placed by hand, it bridges nature and expression. Through it, I explore inner worlds: psychedelic, mystical, spiritual - sometimes serene, other times anxious.
I draw my art digitally (nowadays mostly in Procreate), then translate it into vector form, split to layers and prepare the files for laser cutting. Each layer is cut from heavyweight paper (200–500 g/m²), then carefully positioned, glued and assembled into a cohesive whole.
Creating these pieces offers meditation, a quiet flow, it is a ritual, requiring focus, and offering peace.
